Future Focus: Coffee morning for parents/carers
Friday 26th June, 10am - 12noon
Wallsend Library, 16, The Forum, Wallsend NE28 8JR
We are looking for parents and carers of people with a learning disability and autistic people in Newcastle and North Tyneside to take part in our Future Focus project.
The Twisting Ducks Future Focus project will create a performance and film exploring how families prepare for the future. The project will focus on housing and support when family members are no longer in a person’s life, or become unable to carry out their caring role.
We are looking for parents and carers to take part in workshops to gather views on future planning and better understand - what are the barriers, what would help?
If you are interested in taking part, please come along to our informal coffee morning to find out more, with complimentary hot drinks and cake provided.
